My office maintains a year-round internship program in both my Washington and my three District offices. While first consideration is given to students from the Fourth District of Michigan, any interested students are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications:
Highly motivated, excellent writing skills, able to accomplish a variety of tasks, basic computer and office skills, knowledge of American government.
Job Description:
Interns assist the staff in variety of ways, including: computer data entry, preparing correspondence for the legislative staff, answering constituent inquiries, conducting research, and helping with day-to-day office operations.
